Quality care & education
With our proven education philosophy and almost 30 years in the Hooksett community, Little Apples understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Little Apples Day Care & Learning Center, they’re prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
High quality family-owned child care
Little Apples Day Care & Learning Center is a family-owned and operated child care center. The Szelogs opened their first center in 1993. Located in Hooksett since 1996, Little Apples offers a convenient location off route 93 and an at-home family feel.
Our program strives to enhance positive self worth within the child, and our staff accomplishes this through the use of developmentally appropriate environments and materials and a play-based curriculum. Children are cared for in a loving and nurturing manner, fostering their growth from within.
Young children who attend Little Apples Day get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are thoughtfully designed to nurture the emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of our children.
Year round care Monday through Friday
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
We are closed the main Federal holidays each year and a list is provided annually to parents.
We rarely close for weather-related situations and try our best to be available for our families.
We are a Licensed Plus center through the State of NH.
What does that mean for your child?
Higher quality education and care - we are not babysitters!
Qualified teaching staff who truly love what they do
Innovative and meaningful professional development for staff
An open door policy for parents to visit any time
Little Apples provides security and safety for the children enrolled in our program. Our entry door has a secure access code to allow only primary pick up people to enter the facility. Our other entrances and forms of egress must be opened from the inside by an authorized staff person.
Our staff is fingerprinted and background checked by the State of NH and the FBI. All of our educators are CPR & First Aid certified.
We utilize the Remind app to notify parents of center activities, closures, or emergencies.
In conformity with SB 247 Prevention of Childhood Lead Poisoning, drinkable water for children at our learning center tested within EPA standards.
