With our proven education philosophy and 30 years in the Hooksett community, Little Apples understands and appreciates that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to learn, develop, grow and thrive.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Little Apples Day Care & Learning Center, they’re prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
Our Roots
High quality family-owned child care
Little Apples Day Care & Learning Center is a family-owned and operated childcare center. The Szelogs opened their first early education center in Bedford, NH in 1993. Located in Hooksett since 1996, Little Apples offers a convenient location off route 93 for commuting between Concord or points north and Manchester or points south.
Our program strives to enhance positive self-worth within the child. Our staff accomplishes this through the use of developmentally appropriate and play-based environments, materials, and curriculum. Children are cared for in a loving and nurturing manner, fostering their growth from within.
Operation
Year-round care Monday through Friday
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
We are closed the main Federal holidays each year.
A list of our closings is provided annually to parents.
We rarely close for weather-related situations and
try our best to be available for our families.
Credentialed Educators
Many of our full-time teaching staff are credentialed through the NH Early Childhood Professional Development System.
All of our classroom teaching staff are Associate or Lead qualified through the state.

Child Safety
Little Apples provides security and safety for the children enrolled in our program. Our entry door has a secure access code to allow only primary pick-ups to enter the facility. Our other entrances and forms of egress must be opened from the inside by an authorized staff person.
Our staff is fingerprinted and background checked by the State of NH and the FBI. All of our educators are CPR & First Aid certified.
We utilize Procare to notify parents of center activities, closures, or emergencies.
In conformity with SB 247 Prevention of Childhood Lead Poisoning, drinkable water for children at our learning center tested within EPA standards.
